:)grateful

spent my christmas in a peaceful manner:) hahas it was just nice to have everyone trying to sit around the rectangle table for the dinner on christmas eve..and as usual, mum didnt cook, so we ordered fastfood which was unhealthy but it was also my sis and my fav..=P...quiet precious time together ever since dad dont come home daily anymore..coming back home only every weekend..:( so when there's a long holiday, we are happy:) christmas that day, we went shopping!!! *(for a pair of shoes which my sis need...and since all of us couldn't decide on which pair of shoes is the best..we didnt buy...after hours of walking around in suntec...but strangely, we bought lots of fruits..like grapes, cherries and even a mini-basket of kiwis!! fruit day..oh well)...

then spent the remaining days of this week slacking...and doing random stuff like making a werid pair of earrings which are unequal in length..one long one short...but it fits me totally cos my ear hole is one higher than the other..=P..hmm..and when im bored, i will just randomly call people..late-night calls again!! but usually i ended up calling the same person..it's just amazingly how 2 strangers can talk for 2 over hours...hahas...ranging from weird stuff like soccer to kids-enrolment into schools...hahas...

hmm like one particular sentence that my friend said. 'surrender all your problems to God and dont take them back'. particularlylike the phrase 'dont take it back'..

oh, and weather is really nice today..no rainy day!! went with sis to vivo ( and went with her there yesterday..we just cant get tired of that place:) ..went daiso( is it the way to spell it?)...and spent a very very long time...she simply love looking for her stuff (which comprises of cute notepads, writing materials, handicraft thingy...)...ahahas and we spent a short while walking ard the rooftop...looking around...:)

:)thanks to that particular someone for all the advice he gave me- you really help a lot:) *wink*

dreams. beautiful dreams. Do you ever have such beautiful realistic dreams that you dont wish to wake up? hmm let me explain what im trying to say...like for example, since young, though Im in a realistic dream, i knew that i was just a dream and i would get out of it soon. So, when i was young, *(even now), if Im having a beautiful dream, i wish that i will never have to wake up from it.

hmm shall not elaborate on my dreams ba...coz i think if i try describing it here, i will most prob. take the entire entry explaining it. now to wishes......i wish...that i will just get a job now and work..the workholic within me is complaining...

i wanna go overseas again!! i simply love that feeling of being totally relaxed, just enjoying the scenery around you, and spending all your money away! if only we can just sit around and shop, without having to work..hmm that would be totally awesome and great...haiz, but there's no free lunch in this world.

on sat went shopping with peggy...super funny because both of us were like 30 mins late, and thgt that one another just simply got fed up of waiting and ran away...she accompanyed me to the tution center to hand up my result slip before beginning our weird shopping trip. went kino to spend away the book vouchers that i had *(since march 06, and they are gonna expire in March 07). And in the end, i didnt buy any books..realised that the worst gift that i can received is BOOK VOUCHERS!! Because i DONT really like books, and having to find books that I truly like is a very very very very difficult task.........To begin with, sometimes i just don't know what I want. =P it's just the feeling.Besides the book-shopping trip, we went snacking..ice cream!! and managed to walk from centerpoint ( ard that area OG) to taka, then to plaza sing. I nearly died walking, because of the painful shoes *(which were the ones I wore for prom, those short heeled, but they have the weird division of toes pattern)...talked abt many stuff and realised that old good peggy is still the best:) hahas..desserts...she loves desserts which are cold on the outside, but hot on the inside...but for me, it's pretttttyyy desserts. *wink** hahas..guess that only we know what we are talking about....

Hmm sometimes we often ask ourselves whether what we did were worth it, and usually we came to no conclusion. And even if we did, we will be full of regrets and the only statement will be 'if only ......'. Yupp, I often have such feelings of regrets..regretting things that I did, or things that I didnt do. But from the short talk that I had with Peggy *( in the very noisy foodcourt of plaza sing), i realised that it's these regrets that make life beautiful.

A too perfect life, where everyone make the correct choices, is simply too fake. Regrets make you think more and sometimes thinking is good. It allows you to mature in a way, so that if you are in such a similar situation, you roughly know what to do. In short, to me, regrets=growing up process. Though I have regrets, Im just glad that I made such actions and managed to learn sorta a lesson from it. Life is just like a book with many endings.( rmb that kind of game book?). We started out from a common point, but different actions led us to different endings. Whatever we did, Im just glad for your brief encounter in my life. Even though it's just a case of our shoulders briefly rubbing across one another's. :)

Yeah, enough to saying about life. It's just one of my random thinking, deep thinking days...:)

oh today we have a mini birthday celebration for mandy!! although it kinda dunno look like one:) but we managed to have fun!! watching tv, watching funny jap/kor groups doing the drama thingy, as well as watching the potential 'couple' watching tv together, playing chess together too!! hahas...claire's cooking is nice..super nice chicken wings..:)happy me, and got chocolate pudding to eat:) hahas...and thank god i managed to reach home quick enough. After i stepped into the house, minutes later, it began to rain even heavier!! oh man, sometimes i just love and hate the rain!! HATE: I cant go swimming!! If only, i can swim in the rain...*(without having the danger of dying and having a bbq hair)*....LOVE: I like the refreshing smell of the rain..the slow walk in the rain..awww...simply nice and sweet!

oh man...rainy days..dunno whether to love or hate.

And i just can't believe that 2 years just past liao..haiz..and this year is coming to an end!! aww...next year have to start work liao, and i most probably teaching primary school kids maths....:) hope that i can impart the passion and thirst for knowledge to them:) hahas..*( i dunno why but i just seemed to see mandy laughing....for those poor horrified pri.sch.kids...)

Good or bad, Im just glad. This's fate:)

hahas...back from my holidays. hough i have been to Bangkok for many times, i still find it nice to shop=P my shopping paradise. And i managed to buy everything using my SD90 budget:) happy me:)

hmm lets start with prom night thingy. It was really fun doing makeup, looking at how others transformed greatly..super fun..hmm the pre-prom meeting to do stuff was nice-waxing, doing nail, watching the rest fan-girling..hahas..then the dinner was ok la, though it's kinda a bit cheapo and not to the standard....:) and nearly everyone has blogged about the prom already...so i guessed that looking at the photos will be more useful than writing it out..lazy me=P

Ok back to my trip-spending 4 days in Bangkok.
DAY 1:
I think i woke up at 0430 in the morning, and reached Bangkok about 1100( Bangkok time, which is one hour earlier than Singapore time)...then we went to the weekend market to shop...and bought lots of stuff.. and spent half of my budget without me knowing!! *the earrings then are really cheap...SD0.45.....and i realised that i didnt take a photo of the market, which was very very very crowded and we needed to be careful with our bags, in case we got pickpocketed. Then at night, we went to my mummy's favourite place MBK...to shop...and eat..ducks and chicken and red pork thingy..and by then, i already consumed about 3 cups of coke..kinda scared of it....

DAY 2: The most tiring day i ever had.
Managed to crawl out of bed early to catch some parts of the sunrise from the hotel window.

Went to walk around, checking out markets before shopping in the nearby shopping centres..super tiring, coz we couldnt find lifts or escalators..and we climbed lots, lots flights of stairs!! :( Then at night, the night market was super dark..and we kinda bought nothing..but i think the region this particular night market is, happens to be in the red district region....lots of weird looking beautiful thai girls wearing kinda nothing...

DAY 3:
Today we went for a half day trip..to the Chao Praya River which was 1380m long!! Hopped onto a boat which toured around the Chao Praya River, before

letting us go onto this island which sells lots of clothes and the usual stuff like necklaces, statues....After that, we went to the four-faced Buddha and the Gems gallery (which dont allow cameras to be switched on...so no pictures)

After the trip, we went snacking..actually we snacked a lot during this trip..=P kinda worried that i would not be able to fit into those clothes i bought...because they fit exactly and what if they shrink?stupid me only realised it when i reached the hotel..haiz...blur me..

At night, we went to another night market...actually it's supposed to be a group tour but i guessed that the other groups were too tired for it..so the tour guide simply came to the hotel, gave us the money and told us to take a cab!! bad tour guide!! poor service!! anyway, we managed to flag a cab, and reached there safely.*phew* it's kinda scary coz the driver was driving very fast...and we had heard of many stories of tourists going missing after taking cabs in Thailand...hahas...in the end, nothing happened to us. Hmm the night market was kinda like the weekend market we went to on Sat and Sun...so we didnt buy a lot of stuff...and I saw this super huge and bright Ferrais Wheel!!! Very cool....but we didnt go for a ride in it..coz im scared of heights:(

DAY 4:

Nothing much, just trying to pack everything into my bags...:) the driver was very very late, and freaked us out, because we only have about 2 hours to reach the airport before boarding, and he was still waiting for more passengers!!! In the end, thank god he decided not to wait and drove us there to the airport...but there was a huge jam....and we waited for quite some time, before the jam cleared and he sped all the way there...scary...After that, i realised that sitting in the plane can also be quite scary too....I will never fly with Thai Airways...super freaking, when the lights suddenly go off, and the plane just kinda have an abnormal landing way....
Hmm after 4 days, im finally back here and im glad.

hmm back here again, after being bored..playing games...watching tv, talking....haiz...

oh..im done with prom shopping liao..:) managed to get my earrings from far east, only to realise the next day that i can actually get one pair much cheaper..and nicer than the one i bought. Oh well...:(hmm..shopping done..so now im kinda looking forward to prom:) yeah...more fun doing our hair and makeup together on that day at karmen's place!!:)

then after that, i shall go Thailand and shop shop shop>>>>.....
